18th September 2015 - Day trip up to One Arm Point and Cygnet Bay

We ventured out to Cygnet Bay where there is a pearling farm where we viewed their display of beautiful pearls and enjoyed a drink overlooking the blue ocean.  They also provide pearling trips for visitors. The tide goes out a long way here so it is a bit of a walk if you want to swim.

We returned to Kooljamin and that evening we were fortunate to be able to take our chairs across to the grassed area beside the restaurant to enjoy a preview of the aboriginal musical festival due to take place the next day at Lombadina.  Unfortunately I took video and no stills of the performance so cannot show it here but the large band was excellent & very entertaining - a beautiful way to end the day enjoying a drink with friends in such a scenic setting.
