12th - 14th September 2015 Broome

Saturday 12th September 2015 - We had finally arrived in Broome late on Friday 11th Sept after a long drive.  It was great to pull into the Cable Beach Caravan Park and have a lovely hot shower.  We wanted to have a few days r n r before we ventured up onto the Dampier Peninsular (more sandy roads).  We also wanted to get the car checked out but as we had arrived on the weekend, we had to wait until Monday to arrange this.

Of course Tezza had an ulterior motive for staying Saturday night in Broome - he wanted to watch the rugby league match with his favourite team The Broncos playing so we had dinner at the Divers Tavern almost next door to the caravan park.
